Ten years since it was initiated by the National Gallery of Victoria, the NGV Kids on Tour series returns in 2024 bringing free art-making activities and workshops to kids and families across Victoria.
Ararat Gallery TAMA will provide free take-home activity bags for children to enjoy at home.

Ararat Gallery TAMA welcomes home schoolers for some crafting fun!
Our quarterly home school session is designed to develop creative expression as we openly explore a range of different artistic techniques in a fun, inclusive and encouraging environment.
We will begin the year with a fun and fiddly session exploring the creative craft of beading! Children will have access to a large variety of beads, with the option of creating their own paper beads to create jewellery, key or bag chains or other decorative creations!
These sessions are open to all home school families with children of all ages.

Ararat Gallery TAMA’s monthly Mini Makers Art Club is designed especially for preschoolers.
Each session includes singing, story reading and a guided craft activity designed to develop creative expression and fine motor skills in a fun, inclusive and encouraging environment. At the end of each session, children will have created a lovely piece of art to take home and share proudly with their family!
Mini Makers is free, we warmly welcome new families and there is no need to book. Sessions are from 11am – 12pm the first Tuesday of every month unless otherwise noted.
